Who we are
Clout Operations is a remote-first company based in Antwerp, Belgium. We operate the website cloutoperations.com (the "Site"). For the purposes of data protection law, Clout Operations is the data controller.
What data we collect
We collect personal data in two ways:
- Job applications — When you apply for a role, you provide your name, email address, and any information included in your application responses. This data is collected to evaluate your candidacy and communicate with you about the hiring process.
- Website analytics — We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR. Plausible collects anonymous usage statistics such as page views, referral sources, and device types. No personal data is stored or processed.
Why we collect it
- To process and evaluate your job application (legal basis: legitimate interest and, where applicable, pre-contractual measures).
- To communicate with you about your application status.
- To understand how visitors use our Site so we can improve it (anonymous analytics only).
How long we keep it
Application data is retained for the duration of the hiring process and up to 12 months afterwards, unless you request earlier deletion. Anonymous analytics data is retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to any individual.
Who has access
Your application data is accessible only to the Clout Operations hiring team. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
